Parts Wash Brushes for Auto Parts Cleaning

Parts wash brushes are used for cleaning auto parts such as oil pumps, wheels and wheel bearings, and engine and brake components. They’re also used to clean machined parts such as valves and gears, and to remove cutting fluids, machine oils, lubricants, grease, and dirt. Parts cleaning brushes are available with different brush designs and materials of construction, but are all built to speed parts washing and save users time and money.
Made for the Automotive Aftermarket
Brush Research Manufacturing (BRM) is best known for Flex-Hone® tools, but the American-owned manufacturer supplies a range of parts wash brushes to the automotive aftermarket. These BRM brush tools are made with long-lasting filaments, and some are supplied with a tube that’s designed to fit washer nozzles. BRM also supplies a new soft-tip wheel cleaning brush that lets auto detailers remove dirt and debris from places that other cleaning brushes can’t reach.
Compatible and Cost-Effective
The tube fittings for BRM’s flow-through brushes are made for use with recirculating parts washers such as Enco, KleerFlo, SafetyKleen, and other popular brands.  Brush Research also supplies a parts washing brush that has a scraper end and non-flow through handle. As a full-line supplier of automotive brush tools, BRM has the cleaning and surface finishing solutions that automotive mechanics trust.
Professional-Grade for Longer Life
BRM’s professional-grade parts wash brushes are made with synthetic filaments to resist solvent-type cleaners, and supplied with or without a 2-ft. tube that’s designed to fit .500 and .600 outer diameter (OD) parts washer nozzles. The brush handles are made of injection-molded polypropylene plastic, and all of the metal parts are made of either stainless steel or brass for corrosion resistance.
Ergonomic Handles for User Comfort
BRM also supplies parts wash brushes with an ergonomic handle to help reduce operator wrist fatigue. Built with a rugged polypropylene handle, these parts cleaning brushes feature synthetic filaments that can resist the solvent cleaners used in products such as degreasing agents, carburetor and brake parts cleaners, and metal parts strippers.
Flow-Control for Efficient Cleaning
Parts wash brushes with flow control let users adjust the amount of cleaning fluid that’s applied. Both the PW-1P and the PW-4P models combine the advantages of flow control with ergonomic handles. For cleaning larger areas, the PW-1P is recommended. The PW-4P parts wash brush features a valve and is ideal for cleaning automotive brake parts.
Economy Brushes and New Soft-Tip Wheel Cleaning Brushes
In addition to automotive cleaning brushes with synthetic filaments and plastic handles, BRM supplies a non-flow through parts wash brush with polypropylene filaments, aluminum handle, and scraper end. BRM’s new soft-tip wheel cleaning brush is great for wheel cleaning, lug nut cleaning, and for cleaning hard-to-reach spaces. It’s also safe on chrome and great for polished surfaces and clear coats.
