BRM at EMO Hannover 2013 – Visit the World of Metalworking

EMO Hannover 2013 isn’t just another manufacturing tradeshow. It’s the world’s leading event for metalworking technology. From September 16 to 21, over 2000 exhibitors from 40+ countries will gather in Hannover, Germany to showcase their latest products and best-in-class solutions. Nearly 140,000 visitors from around the world and across all manufacturing sectors will ask questions, get answers, and evaluate exhibitor technologies.

As a global leader in surface finishing solutions, Brush Research Manufacturing (BRM) will once again visit the world of metalworking at EMO Hannover. Michael Miller, Director of Global Sales, will be on-hand to review technical drawings, troubleshoot applications, and answer questions from the BRM booth in Hall 11, Stand A53. If you’d like to schedule an appointment with Mike, please contact us via our website, or choose the Contact link in our EMO Hannover profile.

Flexible Honing Tools for Automated Deburring and Surface Finishing
The BRM booth is the place to see Flex-Hone® technology, the standard against which all other surface finishing tools are compared. As  this new BRM video explains, flexible hones offer both automated deburring and superior surface finishing. Versatile and easy-to-use, these cylinder hones mount in machine centers, improving surface finish quality while eliminating time-consuming manual deburring. Flex-Hone® applications include cross-hole deburring, bore finishing and blending, and port radiusing.

As the Technical Press Releases section of BRM’s EMO Hannover profile explains, flexible honing tools are ideal for any type or size cylinder. Used widely in automotive, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial applications, BRM ball hones feature abrasive globules that are permanently bonded to flexible nylon filaments. Visitors to EMO Hannover can also examine Diamond Flex-Hone® technology for deburring, edge blending, and surface finishing hard materials such as ceramics, carbides, and aerospace alloys.

NamPower Abrasive Brushes for High-Volume, High-Performance Parts Finishing
BRM will also showcase NamPower technology at EMO Hannover 2013 in September. Easily integrated into automated machinery, CNC machining centers, transfer lines, and robotic cells, NamPower nylon abrasive brushes are ideal for high-volume, high-performance operations. Applications for NamPower brush tools include auto parts, aerospace components, and appliances as well as edge blending and fine blanking.

NamPower technology includes abrasive disc brushes, abrasive hex-drive tools, composite hub wheel brushes, and lightweight tool holders. NamPower abrasive disc brushes come in two styles for light-to-moderate and heavy-duty deburring. Composite hub wheel brushes offer an alternative to wire wheels and non-woven abrasive brushes. Abrasive hex-drive tools turn in both directions for complete 360° surface finishing. Lightweight NamPower tool holders feature a unique coolant dispersal system.

Visit the World of Metalworking in Germany
September is a busy month for manufacturing tradeshows, but there’s no better event for metalworking than EMO Hannover. Whether you’re sourcing deburring tools, diamond hones, or miniature industrial brushes – or even if you’re just interested in talking about new technologies – we hope you’ll visit BRM in Hall 11, Stand A53.
