Wire End Brushes

Did you know that BRM offers wire end brushes? These versatile and easy-to-use brush tools are great for rust and paint removal, cleaning and finishing recessed areas, scale and slag removal, die and mold cleaning, and deburring. End brushes are also used for blending, polishing dies and internal cavities, and removing carbon deposits on piston heads, cylinders, and valve seats.  Let’s take a look at two types of BRM end brushes: miniature and circular flared. 

Miniature End Brushes

Miniature end brushes are ideal for surface finishing applications in tight, recessed, and hard-to-reach areas such as welds. These brush tools can be used in various industrial applications, but are a favorite of hobbyists since BRM mini end brushes mount in Dremel® type tools for do-it-yourself (DIY) projects.

BRM miniature end brushes are available with a 3/16" diameter, 1/8" shank or shaft, and a thickness or overall length (OAL) of 2”. Depending on your application’s requirements, choose mini brush tools with straight steel, straight brass, or natural filaments (stiff or soft bristles).

Circular Flared End Brushes

BRM circular flared end brushes provide a soft cutting action and won’t score blind-hole bottoms. Their excellent side cleaning action makes these end brushes an ideal choice for weld or mold cleaning, rust and paint removal, deburring or spot facing, and polishing.

Available in diameters ranging from 1 to 4 inches, these end brushes are made with carbon steel (CS) or stainless steel (SS) filaments. Wire sizes vary, and other important specifications include trim length and maximum safe speed, which is measured in revolutions per minute.
