Brush Research Reduces Carbon Footprint

For years Brush Research has helped companies manufacture more efficient products with the Flex-Hone tool. By reducing oil burning and maintaining a minimum amount of friction, parts made with the Flex-Hone tools are inherently more efficient. We have recently taken a small step internally to reduce our greenhouse gases and become slightly greener.

By retrofitting all of the lights in our factory building and our office building to new, more efficient lights we were able to reduce our annual energy use by 32,825 kWh. This translates into removing 7 cars off the road for a year, or the amount of power for 3 homes for a year.

Sometimes a little difference can go a long way, and at Brush Research, we know how to pay attention to the little things from small burrs and small holes, to each of us doing a little bit to help out our planet.
